Barton 1792 Distillery is a family-owned company based in Nelson County, Kentucky, whose rich distilling tradition dates back to 1789. Barton 1792 is a fully operational distillery producing bourbon, rye, and corn whiskey on site and bottling more than 60 labels.
Barton 1792 Distillery is seeking Part Time Tour Guides to work a flexible schedule including some Saturdays. Successful Tour Guides strive to make every consumer contact an influential raving fan of the Barton 1792 Distillery and 1792 Ridgemont Reserve bourbon! Lead accurate, informative and fun tours. Provide exceptional customer service to all Barton 1792 visitors. Encourage tour visitors to visit the gift shop, make suggestions for purchases and help visitors to locate their desired items. Partner with other tour guides and gift shop associates to generate revenues and raving fans of the Barton 1792 Distillery and bourbon. Successful candidate must have strong communication skills; ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights and weekends). Customer service/retail and or tourism experience preferred.
At least 21 years of age; High School diploma or GED equivalent; ability to project a professional image and the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time is required; the willingness and ability to work nontraditional hours (nights and weekends) is also required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
