Team with the Controller in preparation of weekly/monthly forecasting, inventory and reserve analysis and annual budget.
Partner with intercompany Financial Shared Services to resolve issues.
This role reports to the Plant Controller.
Accountable for weekly flash and monthly forecast reporting forecast, P&L account forecast.
Assist with annual budget preparation and weekly/monthly forecasting.
Backup to Controller for labor, scrap, MRO spending and other financial approvals as necessary.
Provide information for customer pricing issues and could be involved in customer meetings seeking resolution of issues.
Part of a multi-disciplinary team for scrap recycle tonnage forecast.
Participate in month-end closing process general ledger, reconciliation, variance analysis, etc.
Team with Controller regarding new program financial tracking/analysis, working with Corporate Program Finance to meet quoted margin targets.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required.

years of financial, operations or business experience in manufacturing environment, automotive a plus.
Strong understanding of financial manufacturing, general ledger, standardized cost accounting, budgeting and forecasting is required.
Hands-on experience in audit procedures and processes, financial reporting, accounting and variance analysis, continuous improvements and cost savings initiatives.
Demonstrate multi-task abilities, critical thinker while working in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, ERP systems (QAD), OneStream or other financial systems.
