Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with various tasks related to legal matters - Manage and maintain document management systems, including organizing and filing legal documents - Prepare and proofread legal documents, such as pleadings - Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases - Prepare correspondence - Answer phone calls and handle inquiries with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette - Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates for attorneys - Perform data entry and maintain accurate records - Provide administrative support to attorneys, including managing calendars and scheduling meetings Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a legal assistant or in a similar role is preferred - Proficient in using google suite - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Proficient in data entry and clerical tasks - Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and has a passion for the legal field.
