Peddlers Mall has been in business for over 25 years and specializes in second-hand (vintage, antique, repurposed, thrifted) and new merchandise.
Applicants Must:
-Be at least 18 years old.
-Have previous computer, typing, retail experience and obtain strong customer service skills.
-Have a clear criminal background check AND pass a drug test.
-Be available nights, weekends, and some holidays.
-MUST be reliable, independent, and comfortable with working alone in certain areas of the store with minimal guidance.
-Be able to communicate effectively with customers and vendors and have strong attention to detail.
-Have strong problem-solving skills and math skills.
-Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment during busy shopping times.
-Must be able to stand for long periods of time and complete light janitorial duties throughout the day, as well as assisting in organizing the store and products.
-Welcome and engage with customers and vendors as they enter/exit the store.
-Assessing customers' and vendors' needs with any product or operational questions/concerns.
-Understanding and operating the cash registers, our custom business POS, and processing payments.
Peddlers Mall is a fun and unique place to work! We offer our employees an in-depth training period as well as bonus incentives when specific goals are met.
We begin our cashiers at an hourly rate of $12 per hour with additional monthly bonus opportunities.
HIRING BONUS $300:
to be paid after 90 days with no absences! Room for advancement to full-time is a possibility.
Other Duties:
Assisting in opening and closing the store, vendor communication, greeting and checking out customers, light cleaning, customer service responsibilities, vendor relations, organizing booths, assisting with social media accounts, and posting products online.
